Over two hundred seventy (270) researches were presented during the World Research Festival in Cebu City last August 22-25, 2012. The world research festival was presented by researchers from Indonesia, Malaysia, Oman, Saudi Arabia, India, Iran, Pakistan, Nigeria, United States, Canada, Australia Norway, United Kingdom and the Philippines. The research festival was organized by the International Association of Multidisciplinary Research (IAMURE) a recognized research organization by the Association of International Research, AJA-ISO, and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). Prof. Michael Vincent P. Caceres represented the Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology. The International Association of Multidisciplinary Research (IAMURE) recently honors six Filipino researchers as 2012 Outstanding Filipino Researchers held in Marco Polo Hotel in Cebu City. Winners
were selected on the basis of Expertise : 25% , Publication : 30%, Leadership Awards : 20% and Advocacy : 25%. The judges came from Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia and the Philippines. The winners came from the University of the Philippines-Manila, Ateneo de Naga University, Cebu Normal University, University of Northern Philippines, Gulf College Oman and Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology.
